“Hearts of Armenia” was born out of love, inspired by all the warmth I felt when living in Yerevan for 6 months in 2015, so with Valentine’s Day approaching, I think it’ll make such a sweet gift for your Valentine(s). Of course we should spread love every single day, but February 14 is just another day to remind your loved ones how much they mean to you. As a reminder, half of the proceeds will be donated to AIWA-SF and given to the Women’s Support Center in Yerevan to help our Armenian sisters get out of abusive relationships. Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world and should not be tainted by emotional or physical abuse, under any circumstance.
In the book you’ll find 87 unique hearts I captured during my time in Armenia, as well as inspirational quotes about love. I often get asked which heart is my favorite, and though it’s hard to narrow it down to one, there are a few I naturally gravitate toward: light in the shape of a heart, which I spotted while strolling on Mashtots Street one afternoon; a vivid red heart against a paint-splattered wall; and the first leaf-shaped heart I spotted at the Hrabarag during my first week there in April. But don’t let me sway you — I’d love to know which your favorites are, too! Bonus: If you share our Facebook post between now and February 8, you will get free shipping.
I want to thank AIWA-SF and everyone who has bought a book for all the love and support <3!
