“I am at my best when I am NOT stressed” this was one of the many moments of self-discovery coming out of the AIWA SF interactive Reclaim your Element workshop. Facilitated by an amazing friend and IBM co-worker Angela Migliaccio who is also a Professional Co-Active coach trained by CTI (The Coaches Training Institute). The idea of Angela running this workshop with AIWA-SF community arose during a “power-walk” that we do occasionally at Vasona Park. Lately, I have been getting informal coaching session from Angela without knowing it. I realized she is so natural and wonderful in helping people dig deeper and discover their true values, so I knew this would be very useful session for our AIWA-SF community.
The two-hour interactive workshop happened on Saturday, November 18 at Mission College. Angela did marvelous job starting the session with her personal story. Sharing how she reclaimed her element and started her coaching career recently while continuing her work in corporate world for over 20 years. Angela’s personal story connected her with the audience instantaneously and allowed all of us to open-up. Participants shared values we cherish through several interactives exercises. Each of us had the opportunity to share the profound discoveries we made about ourselves after each exercises. We were also encouraged to give ourselves permission to make changes in our life.
The day was incredible, AIWA-SF Vice President Sophia Moradian shares, “It’s so hard to take a few hours out of an already busy week, but every minute spent at the Reclaim your Element session with Angela was more than well spent. The exercises we did allowed me to shed light on areas of my life that need more care. I enjoyed the interactive nature of the event and appreciated the opportunity to get to know both new and old AIWA members. I’m looking forward to similar events in the future!”
The session ended with the ceremony of getting bracelets from Angela with powerful words such as Love, Hope, Compassion, and Courage.
Angela works with clients who are looking to find more fulfillment in their private and/or professional life.
