THRIVE is an AIWA-SF April project dedicated to highlighting Armenians who are doing amazing things in their personal and professional lives to better themselves and those around them.  These individuals are inspiring, dynamic, innovative and interesting. Today we feature Nina Achadjian.

Name: Nina Achadjian || Managing Partner & Founder, HIVE Ventures

HIVE Ventures is the first venture capital fund focused on investing in Armenian entrepreneurs around the world.  To date, HIVE has had a significant impact in growing the Armenian tech ecosystem, helping grow the number of startups from 50 in 2014 to 350 in 2017.  HIVE has invested in 17 portfolio companies, who in aggregate have raised $100M of funding with co-investors like Amazon, Intel Capital, Social Capital, Y Combinator, Menlo Ventures, Greylock and others.  Nina is incredibly passionate about HIVE she shares, “I think we have an opportunity to build the next billion-dollar company using talent in Armenia and because HIVE is the platform that connects young entrepreneurs with successful mentors in their space.”
