Name: Alex Saghatelian, Transformational Business Executive, Chief Pricing Officer Vantara {Updated Current Role: Vice President, Pricing Strategy Leader at ServiceNow}
Alex Saghatelian is a transformational business executive whose career has spanned management consulting and high-tech companies, driving operational innovation, product strategy, pricing strategy and strategic deals management.
In his current role, Alex is the Chief Pricing Officer at Hitachi Vantara, driving value maximizing monetization strategies to enable innovative Internet of Things (IoT) as a service solutions. Prior to Hitachi, Alex served as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Workday. His responsibilities included leading Workday’s global deals management team to drive and scale the business to profitable and rapid growth. Alex also served as sales lead on Workday’s new product and pricing committee, a cross-functional leadership group making critical pricing and GTM decisions.
Previously, Alex held several leadership roles at Cisco, including Senior Director, Pricing and Product Strategy for Software and Cloud, where he led their product and pricing financial strategy to accelerate software and cloud recurring revenue growth. Earlier in his career, he held management consulting roles at Trianz and Accenture, partnering with Fortune 500 companies in the technology and financial services industries to drive key strategies to execution.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from University of California, Santa Barbara and MBA from University of Southern California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, and their two daughters. He also enjoys traveling internationally, playing sports and celebrating life with his extended family. Alex is active in giving back to the community and holds leadership position on Board of Directors for Healthier Kids Foundation.
