In 2011, the United Nations passed Resolution 66/170, declaring October 11 as the “International Day of the Girl”. AIWA-SF Armenian International Women’s Association San Francisco Affiliate​ is dedicated to empowering, inspiring, connecting and mentoring Armenian women globally. We have found that when we reach adolescent girls, we are able to provide them with the confidence, abilities and opportunities to be next generation leaders.
